About Me

in czech 'změna' means 'change'...something my life has been steeped in the last few years...and so it is only fitting that this is one of the first czech words i learned and is my favourite czech word.

this space holds an amalgamation of things from different angles of my life - from musings to meanderings - that have caught my eye or made me think (whether in a good, bad, or just thoughtful way). i like to notice things. and explore. who i am is heavily inspired by where i've traveled and what i've experienced. this is my story. (semi-)succinctly. join me.

A reminder of Dobra Cajovna: my favorite teahouse in the Czech Republic. This picture recalls a memory for me…well, many memories…but the most immediate one that came to mind was during one of our many visits to the lovely Cesky Krumlov where Tom and I sat and chronicled all of our future travel to-dos, a list that ended up about 50+ destinations deep by the time we finished our grape shisha and desert dunes tea* in a beautiful haze. Sigh…
*side note: when you google desert dunes tea at dobra cajovna the first result is a blog post that I wrote. ha.
